From Points West by Car

Assuming you can find your way to the TransCanada Highway, getting to Dalhousie University is easy:

  • Take the TransCanada into Nova Scotia (where it becomes Highway 104) and follow it towards Truro
  • Leave the TransCanada just before Truro and take the turnoff for Highway 102
  • Follow Highway 102 towards Halifax
  • Just before Halifax take the turnoff for Highway 118
  • Stay on 118 for a short time and take the first exit off of 118 that mentions Halifax and Bridges (Highway 111)
  • This exit will take you to the MacKay bridge, where you will need to pay a 75 cent toll to get across
  • Once across the bridge, follow signs for Robie Street
  • Once on Robie Street, carry on until you hit University Avenue (5-10 minutes)
  • Turn right onto University. The Weldon Law Building is one blocks further, on the right side of the road
