Dress Codes
Is there a dress code?
In the MBA Program there are several situations in which different attire should be worn. Those instances include semi-formal events, business professional events, business casual events, and time spent in the classroom. Below is a set of general guidelines on what attire is suitable:
Semi-Formal:
Semi-formal attire is worn at MBA Formals. For men, a suit or blazer with dress pants with a tie. For women, a dress, suit, or skirt and blouse.
Business Professional:
Business professional dress is worn for class presentations, interviews, and conferences. For men, professional attire always includes a suit and tie. For women, business suits are standard attire. Skirts are often acceptable as are dress pants with a dress blouse. Blouses should be conservative. Modesty is always the best policy when it comes to dress/skirt length, as well as blouses and sweaters.
Business Casual:
For men, button-down shirt or polo shirt with or without sweater, khaki pants, with belt, dress socks and loafers. A sport coat can be added but is not necessary. For women, dress pants with a blazer or blouse, sweater or a pantsuit.
Classroom Attire:
On campus, dress can be somewhat more relaxed. For men, a collared shirt with khakis or dress pants is the norm. For women, khakis or dress pants and dress shirt are the norm. Shirts that are ripped and jeans are considered disrespectful in the classroom environment, and are inappropriate.
