This class is designed for those with some, but not a lot, of jazz dance experience. Dancers should at least know what pirouettes, chainees, triplets, jetes/jumps, and other basic steps are, as we will work on these throughout the year. The class usually starts with a warm up and stretch, followed by centre and across-the-floor combinations, and finishes with some choreography. There really isn't much of a dress code, although I do request that you not wear outdoor shoes, running shoes, jeans, or a lot of jewelery in class - make sure you can move comfortably in whatever you are wearing! Proper dance shoes aren't required and bare feet or half socks are preferable to full socks. See you in class!
