**NEW REGISTRATION INFORMATION**
Registration will be held at the DSU Society Fair on Wednesday, September 15 from 11am-3pm. The fair is held in the McInnis Room of the Student Union Building. Come check us out. We will be able to answer any questions you may have:)
Other Registration dates:(to be held @ the Studley Dance Studio)
Classes will begin Sunday, September 19.
The cost is $25 per dance style for one term. Please bring your money with you when registering.
Download a registration form HERE and bring it with you when registering. You MUST have an up-to-date student ID (Dal or King's) or a Dalplex Membership.

Registration and fall dance class information is coming soon!...We are currently awaiting available studio times for the King's studio, so unfortunately we will not have a definite schedule ready until Septemeber 9th (at the very earliest!) Please be patient, we are doing out best :)

Congratulations to everyone for have an AMAZING show this weekend. DalDance council has been getting excellent feedback from many people who attended! Thank-you to everyone who made the show a success!
The DVD order has been placed and we will be receiving the order in the next week or so. Please check back for times pick up times.

"Danscape" We will be selling DVD's of the show for $15. Your friendly DalDance council will be taking orders at the rehearsal.
Speaking of the rehearsal....ALL DANCERS ARE TO BE AT THE REBECCA COHN AT NOON ON SUNDAY. We will start by a run though of the curtain call, follow by a full run-through of the show in costume.

Tickets for "Danscape" , our 11th annual end-of-year show, are NOW AVAILABLE at the Rebecca Cohn Auditorium Box office. Tickets are $10. You can also order tickets online from the box office website.

Beginner Hip Hop, Advanced Contemporary and Advanced Jazz are all cancelled for today due to the Study Break. These classes may be made up at a later date!

*DalDance is looking for students who would like to take part in the DalDance Society for next year.*
Any Member in good standing that has been a Member for at least one previous period and is a fully registered student of either Dalhousie University or The University of King?s College may be nominated for a position as an Executive Officer. A candidate must be nominated by a Member and a Teacher.
Positions Available are President, Vice President, Treasurer, Secretary,
Member at Large (Website Coordinator) and Member at Large (Show Coordinator).Note: Treasurer will be appointed by the outgoing council, all other positions will be elected by all Daldance members.

IMPORTANT TO REMEMBER- If we do not have a council for next year we do not have DalDance classes for next year, which means no affordable dance classes for students and faculty. So Get Involved! :)

***It's that time of year again...CLOTHING!!! This year we are selling hoodiesand tshirts with the Daldance logo on them. There are a few different colors to choose from as well. The Tshirts will be $15 each and the Hoodies will be $30 each.
As for selling, A member of your Daldance Executive will be in the dance studio next week from Tuesday (Feb 9th) until Friday (Feb 12th) from 12-2 each day.Please bring your money and what size, color, and type of clothing you are purchasing. We accept CASH OR CHEQUE only.
Below you will find pictures of each TShirt and Hoodie that we are selling ALONG with a sizing chart so that you can figure out what size will fit you best :)

Exciting news: We will be offering 3 new classes this term! Beginner tap, Advanced tap and Conditioning classes have been added to the schedule! We would like to welcome a new teacher! Chris will be teaching tap classes this semester. We would also like to welcome Julia Cottle back to teach Beginner Modern!
Also note that some class times and locations have changed from last term. We will now be holding some classes in the King's dance studio, so check the schedule closely!
**Also new this term: we will be now be charging $30 for 1.5 hour classes (advanced classes). Still an excellent price!

***Winter Registration Information***
Classes will begin the week of January 10 and end the week of March 27.
Classes during the winter term will be focused on preparing routines for our end-of-year show, therefore there will be no trial classes offered (no trying out a class this term).
It is also manditory that 2 of the first 3 classes be attended to ensure your spot in the class.

This society would not exist without the support and interest of our students so DalDance Society wants to say thank you for coming out by supplying pizza and pop for all who attend :)
The meeting will be held in Council Chambers which is in room 222 of the SUB (second floor). The meeting should be no more than an hour long.
Please take a look at our constitution before the meeting. It can be viewed HERE. -If you have any questions about anything in it, or would like to make any changes - please bring all of that to meeting :)

Summer Dance Class Information:

At the moment we are still waiting on the studio schedule in order to figure out dates and times of each class. We will be having jazz, tap, ballet, modern and hip hop classes this summer that will start on June 7th and run until September 1st. We will have the schedule posted as soon as it's ready!....Check back later this week!
Pick up will be Tuesday, April 6: 12:00-2:00pm and Wednesday, April 7: 1:30-3:30 in the STUDLEY studio. We are 2 extra copies available to be purchased for $15. These are first come-first serve.
